You do not need expensive software to browse GIS data. Sometime you just need a GIS viewer to observe\u00a0how data looks? What is in data? How is it’s attribute\u00a0table? I have browse the internet to find out some of the free GIS data viewer which can be handy. GIS data might be in different format, might be in shapefile or other software format. Mostly GIS Data viewer are light weight software which has limited functionality and are perfect for browsing data.<\/p>\n

1.<\/span><\/b><\/span> ArcGIS Explorer Desktop<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

ArcGIS Explorer Desktop is a freeware GIS viewer data which gives you flexibility to browse data. It also allows you to explore, visualize, and share GIS information. ArcGIS Explorer allows you to access free base maps and GIS layers from ArcGIS Online, fuse your local data with online data, allows to add photos, videos and other documents with your map, perform spatial analysis like visibility, modeling, and proximity search.
