Heat Map is quite popular in the GIS world which can be produced in various GIS software, I have written a tutorial on How to Create Heat Map using QGIS Software.<\/a> This tutorial will show creating a heat map using Microsoft Excel<\/a> version from 2013 to 2017. On this excel version, you can download the app and use them for a specific reason. For creating a heat map we will be using Geographic Heat Map <\/b>App and it is free.<\/b><\/p>\n

1.<\/span> <\/b>Open your Excel sheet then go to Insert > My Apps.<\/b><\/p>\n

2.<\/span> <\/b>Then click on the Store <\/b>and type text Geographic Heat Map <\/b>on the search <\/b>box. <\/b>Then click on the Add <\/b>button.<\/p>\n

3.<\/span> <\/strong>After adding the app, the first time it will automatically open the Geographical Heat Map window.<\/p>\n

4.<\/span> <\/strong>Then click on the Get<\/strong> Started<\/strong> button, next window will pop out. Select the data by using the Select Data<\/strong> button. Under Choose map<\/strong> select World<\/span><\/strong>, Regions<\/strong> will take Name<\/span><\/strong> field and Values<\/strong> field will have Value<\/span><\/strong>. Also, assign the Color theme<\/strong> and Map Title<\/strong>. Finally hit Save<\/strong> button to create a map.<\/p>\n
